Required Source Fields
Every material claim should be traceable to a direct URL, source owner, publication date when available, access date, and a short note explaining which claim the source supports.
Source Hierarchy
Primary sources include official sites, filings, regulator records, archived official statements, and product notices. Credible independent reporting may corroborate or contextualize them. Generic phrases such as public archive or digital footprint are not references.
Provenance Boundary
A controlled ecosystem source may explain methodology or relationship disclosure, but it must not be presented as independent proof of an external entity claim.
Unavailable Sources
When a source is missing, inaccessible, or ambiguous, the record must say so. Uncertainty is preferable to an invented citation.
